Total Pixelation Studios was very pleasant to deal with, real professionals with excellent communication, had to go through a lot of changes etc, but they were very patient with me, stuck through the whole project and went out of their way to ensure it was completed. I would highly recommend them, their work quality is outstanding. They worked non-stop in implementing what I wanted, and never flinched even when asked for multiple revisions. If you want a development company who understands you, yet will get your job done with utmost efficiency, choose Total Pixelation. Their e-commerce skills rock. I definitely recommend them. Thanks.

Overview

At Total Pixelation Studios, it is our belief that you need to have a sense of our development/design process. It is imperative that clients understand how their project will be created, both, for peace of mind and for the sake of easy communication. Although our methodology is flexible so that each project is unique, we have outlined a basic project "life cycle", which is generic enough to fit any work we undertake.

Analysis

We start out the design process with a free initial consultation. A representative trained in what you need contacts you to discuss every aspect of your project. We discuss what the client has in mind for the project. We talk about the design (if applicable), layouts, programming languages, etc. Once the basis of the project has been established, the representative will suggest a path to follow. The client will be shown a rough sketch of the process of the project, as well as any additional resources that may be required. We then converse about the target audience, the most crucial factor of each project. Finally, we will review example websites that might pertain to what the client may want. We will end the meeting by talking about the cost and time frame, which includes payment methods.

Output: Work process, general information, design drafts.

Specification Building: First Draft

Once we undertake the project, we will create and present a complete list of all the resources that will be required. We will converse about any minute factors (color, software, etc.) Large projects may require multiple sessions of communication of this sort, as they have many more modules and need to be assessed for additional business and technical specifications. After reviewing all details and ironing out any remaining creases in the project, we will begin work on the first draft.

Output: Complete information about project requirements.

Design And Development: Second & Final Drafts

At this point, we will put in any content the client may have so basic bug testing can be done from the beginning. The actual building process starts now. The layouts are prepared according to the industry's general guidelines, and will be presented to the client as prototypes. Once the changes are made and the approval is given to the client, we create the draft of the project. This includes coding for websites and applications, and touching up the graphics for design projects. We will also do a basic bug test to ensure that applications are running smoothly. We review this with the client and then move onto the next step. This step usually takes the longest amount of time as both, the second and final drafts are created.

Output: Design with full template/Fully-Coded Application/Coded Website. All of them include the content.

Optional: Content Writing

The content of the project is written, edited, and finally published on the project after approval of the client. The content is edited multiple times to eliminate any possibilities of fault. After the content is approved by the client, we print it out as the final copy on the project.

Output: Full content published onto the project.

Optional: Coding

In this stage, the dynamic coding of the project (user-interactivity, forms, backstage processes) are put into the project. Any required databases are developed. Server modifications are also made in this stage.

Output: Database-driven dynamics and user-interactivity are developed.

Final Testing

This is the beta testing of the project. We test applications and websites in multiple browsers to ensure they work as planned. Designs are tested in various resolutions and screen types. All pre-release bugs are sorted out in this stage.

Output: Completed application, the project is tested on multiple levels, any error logs are written and presented.

Publishing

At this stage, we send out the design and application projects to the client. For web-based projects, we upload all files to the web server and the project goes live.

Output: Fully functional solution.

Maintenance and Updates

Each project comes with a free thirty day maintenance period. If the delivered solution encounters bugs, we fix them. Also, we make basic updates to websites and applications, and help the client adapt to using them.

Output: Updated and maintained application.
