Earning Alerts is an interesting and useful website that offers the latest information on individual stock earnings. Total Pixelation created an easy-to-manage backend system that allowed the administrator to update stock information. We designed the system so that it retrieved earnings from Yahoo! Finances, stored the content in a database, and sent it to an RSS feed through PHP. When the user subscribes to the feed, he/she selects the stocks he/she wants, and an alert is sent anytime they will earn money from that stock.
